A delightful afternoon of Christmas songs and stories

All proceeds of the latest Coffee House event, which was held at the Lakeside Multiplex on Dec. 1, went to the ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Citizens on Patrol Society. Coffee house and ‘A Celtic Christmas Ceilidh’

The Huu Bac Quintet captivated the ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake audience last Saturday with a splendid performance at the First Mennonite Church. This was the fourth performance of the Lakes District Arts Council’s twelfth season. Mistletoe mania Christmas parade

The Lakes District Peace Choir - comprised of children from William Konkin Elementary School (WKE), Francois Lake Elementary School and Decker Lake Elementary School - rehearse at WKE for their performance this Friday during the Mistletoe Mania Christmas parade and Christmas tree light up at Pioneer park. The parade starts at 6:15 p.m. and goes along Government Street. Then everyone is invited to Pioneer Park for entertainment and hot chocolate and treats. (Flavio Nienow photos)

The Travelling Mabels, a folk and country group full of spirit, spunk and laughter, brought a wealth of life experience to the stage in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake last week. This was the third performance in the Lakes District Arts Council’s performing arts season.
