Transfer Station becomes new recycling depot

Transfer Station becomes new recycling depot

Recycling services started at the ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Transfer Station on June 19, after they were curtailed at the Return-It-Depot on June 15. Under the contract that the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako signed with Recycle BC, residential packaging and paper product recyclables are accepted at the Transfer Station. The wooden frame under construction will become the full Recycle BC depot with metal siding. (Blair McBride photos)

Pine Ridge holds open house

Pine Ridge Modular Homes held an open house event celebrating its 20 year anniversary of doing business in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake on June 22, at its lot just east of ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake. People stopped in between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to check out several duplex and modular homes that were on display. Magician Roger Fountain entertained the crowd with tricks including juggling apples, balls and flaming clubs plus there was a complimentary BBQ and lots of door prizes to be won.
