Garden Fresh Nutrition Workshop

The Pines held an open house for its new dining area expansion, in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake on Aug. 12.

Lillian Mulvany doesn’t get half the credit of her famous husband, Trygarn Pelham Lyster (Barney) Mulvany, but by all accounts, she was a remarkable person in her own right.

Work is well underway on the Downtown Parking Lot Redevelopment Plan, which includes sidewalks and a new crosswalk across Highway 16.

Shannon and Natalie did their part for the environment and helped clean up trash from Radley Beach over the Civic Holiday weekend. After noticing the garbage on the sand, the sisters from Manitoba - who were visiting family in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake - came back a second day with bags to collect the trash, before going for a swim. Pacific Atlantic Pipeline Construction (PAPC), Work BC and High Road Services Society enjoyed the sunny weather and held a joint barbecue on Aug. 7. On that day PAPC opened its ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Community Office which is aimed at engaging with the public in relation to the Coastal GasLink (CGL) pipeline. The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has donated $12,500 towards the project to resurface the track near Lakes District Secondary School (LDSS) in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake.
