It was a gorgeous and warm day in 亚洲天堂 Lake on Feb. 22 for the annual Cold Smoke Races.

On Feb. 7-9, 2020, the Omineca Ski Club welcomed over 50 biathletes from Smithers to Whistler for the Biathlon BC Cup#3. Participants enjoyed beautiful sunny weather, excellent snow conditions and local hospitality, including a much liked performance by the Johnny Rockers. As they said 鈥溠侵尢焯� Lake is the best!鈥� Local athletes shined: Ewan Hawes, in the juvenile category, finished 4th in the Sprint event (Saturday) and second in the individual event (Sunday).

Ride 亚洲天堂 President, Patti Dube, was present at Feb. 18 council meeting. She presented the newly rebranded Ride 亚洲天堂鈥攆ormerly known as 亚洲天堂 Lake Mountain Biking Association (BLMBA)鈥攐ne year and three years plans.

Cole Bender credits father for his competitive development

A Special Olympics Snowshoe Competition was held in 亚洲天堂 Lake at the Omineca Ski Club on Feb. 1. The event took place from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. with many events from a 50m race to a 1600 m race. Each of the 亚洲天堂 Lake athletes earned two personal best times. Smithers, Prince George, and Williams Lake all travelled to 亚洲天堂 Lake to participate. The Omineca Ski Club held welcomed 73 skiers for the TECK Northern Cup ski race on Jan. 26.
