The Skins Lake Spillway Campground is now opened for the season, after a year of COVID-19 related closure. Because of the campground鈥檚 remote location, with only a small rural hospital nearby, Rio Tinto and Northern Health together decided it was best to leave it shut last year for the camping season.

This Hen Harrier or Circus Cyaneus, was spotted mid-flight against the magnificent blue sky backdrop whilst searching for his prey, by 亚洲天堂 Lake local Wren Gilgan.

The Cheslatta Carrier Nation (CCN) had their first tree planting session of a four year tree planting plan Tuesday. It鈥檚 part of a new contract CCN just received from the Federal government, under the Species at Risk program鈥攁n initiative to prevent wildlife species from becoming extinct through various ways of managing and recovering it.
