亚洲天堂 Lake nursing student receives money

Deadman鈥檚 Island just out of 亚洲天堂 Lake approximately two kilometers east of Radley Beach. Just one hectare in size, it is British Columbia鈥檚 smallest provincial park, and (having been established in 1933) one of the region鈥檚 oldest.

CNC, Lakes District campus held a Moose Hide Campaign Day on May 12 to promote the end of violence against women and children. Staff and community members, including 亚洲天堂 Lake RCMP, took a short walk through 亚洲天堂 Lake starting in front of CNC. A community BBQ of Elk, buffalo and beef burgers with a bannock bun compliments of CNC was offered after the walk.

On May 12, William Konkin Elementary School in 亚洲天堂 Lake celebrated Moose Hide Campaign Day. The students watched a live stream event and then they all went outside to find a rock in which they each drew or painted a message of non-violence, kindness and protection.
