Two people are dead after a fire at a residence in Prince George on Friday (July 25), RCMP say.
Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the fire at the corner of Strathcona Avenue and Quince Street around 2 p.m. on Friday, and Prince George RCMP was alerted around 2:23 p.m., according to a news release Monday.
Police confirmed Monday that two people died in the fire. Neighbouring residences were evacuated while firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
RCMP added the fire is not considered suspicious. BC Coroners Service is investigating now.
