The Village of ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake’s council and mayor for the next four years were officially sworn in at a ceremony held at the village chambers on Nov. 1. Day time trick or treaters in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake

ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake resident Carrie Roth organized a daytime trick or treating at participating businesses. Are your winter tires on?

The ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake RCMP were out on Nov.4 stopping vehicles and checking to see if residents had their winter tires on yet. B.C. law requires drivers to obey winter tire and chain signs throughout the province from Oct. 1 to March 31. Basketball has started in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake

ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Junior NBA Youth Basketball (JNYB) program, developed by Canada Basketball and the NBA has now started. Garrett Shaw, president of ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Basketball, a non-profit started by him, Naomi Hanson and Scott Zayac, said that the JNYB is a basketball skill and development program for kids ages 5+. ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Timbermen play again in town

The ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Timbermen played against Mackenzie Oct. 28 at 7:30 - 8-1 loss. Then on Oct. 30 the Timbermen played Kitimat 2:30 p.m. 7/6 for Kitimat final score. Next home game in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake is against Tumbler Ridge on Nov. 18.
