The Lakeside Multiplex are holding skating lessons from Jan. 10 to Feb. 10. Lewis Jones, Director of Recreation Services said they have full classes. Home sales fade as interest rates soared

Home sales in the B.C. Northern region totaled 4,250 units in 2022, a 23 per cent decline from 2021’s near record pace, but on par with the average level of sales activity over the past 10 years. That said, home sales did fade in the second half of the year as interest rates soared. Indeed, by the fourth quarter, home sales across the BC Northern area were trending at just a 3,300 annual sale pace, setting up what should be a slow start to 2023.

The North West Pitbulls played a tournament in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake on Jan 14 and 15. It was a super weekend which included the four teams that make up the Northern Female league; North East Predators, Prince George Capitals, Williams Lake Timberwolves and North West District Pitbulls. Williams Lake Timberwolves won all three of their games, Prince George Capitals lost two, tied one, North East Predators won two, lost one and the North West Pitbulls lost two, tied one.
