Teck Northern Cup Race
The Omineca Ski Club held their Teck Northern Cup Race. Approximately 85 participants braved the cold on Jan. 29. The club delayed the mass start by 20 minutes and had some younger racers start even later as it was a brisk minus 20. The classic technique race then went off without a hitch and later everyone gathered at the club house to warm up with a hot beverage. (Ted Douglas photos/Lakes District ÑÇÖÞÌìÌÃ)
