Federal investment bolsters ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake firefighting capabilities

The Village of ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake has received a boost to its firefighting capabilities with the Federal Government’s Strategic Priorities Fund stream of the Canada Community-Building Fund. The federal investment, announced on April 17, of over $103.5 million will support 45 community infrastructure projects across the province. Among these projects is the replacement of the village’s outdated fire hall, a long-awaited upgrade that has been in the works for years.

The ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Coffee House had another evening of great music. The events have been well attended and have been going since the beginning of the year. The ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Floaters went down to Banff for a weekend tournament on April 14-16. They played three round robin games and one playoff game. They won their final game 3-0 against Beaumont, AB.
