New bylaw officer studied dangerous dog claims, not worried

The 亚洲天堂 Lake Snowmobile Club held an ATV/UTV poker ride on June 24. Travis won 1st - $500, Darryl won 2nd - $300 and Marty came in 3rd -$200. The 50/50 was won by Fred Saul and the club sold 234 hands. It was a great day. And don鈥檛 forget the club is selling raffle tickets for a brand new ATV - get your ticket and see if you could be sporting a brand new ATV on the next ride. 亚洲天堂 Lake and Lake Babine Nation get grant together

On June 24 the 亚洲天堂 Lake Show Shine held an afternoon and dinner cruise. Everyone met at CNC at 4 p.m. The following day on June 25, the show and shine was held at Spirit Square. Lakes Animal Friendship Society (LAFS) nail trim day was on June 24 at the 亚洲天堂 Lake Library downstairs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It was all by donation and also done by LAFS volunteers. They are working hard to bring affordable services to 亚洲天堂 Lake families. All funds will be going towards our low income spay and neuter programs. The Lakes Animal Friendship Society (LAFS) has recently achieved a significant milestone in its mission to promote animal welfare and education by adapting its materials to Inuktitut and Luganda languages. In collaboration with Veterinarians Without Borders and Animal-Kind International, LAFS translated their 鈥渂asic kindness and care鈥� colouring books, originally designed for young learners, into these languages.

The 亚洲天堂 Lake and District Senior Society held a Centennial senior luncheon on June 23 at the Island Gospel Church. It was a full house and was a great event for people to catch up with one another.
