The forestry-dependent community in northwestern B.C. is about to lose its major employer

My time in 亚洲天堂 Lake and Houston has sadly come to an end. I鈥檒l be moving on to Prince Rupert to work for CFTK TV.

As the Lakes District 亚洲天堂 has reported on several occasions, a Junior A hockey team from the Greater Metro Hockey League West will be established in 亚洲天堂 Lake this fall. Personally, I think it a fantastic decision.

It鈥檚 hard to not begin to see the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel. With the recent lessening of restrictions, high vaccination numbers, along with the warm weather, there鈥檚 something in the are that feels like we鈥檙e starting to return to the lives we once knew before this nightmare first began.

While everyone continues to freak out about the insane gas prices, and rightfully so, I鈥檝e got a bone to pick with another essential item that costs way too much; groceries.

I can鈥檛 believe I鈥檓 saying this, but curling is a pretty cool sport.

It bothers me a lot when people throw out statements about freedom being taken away with regards to COVID-19 mandates, because to me it shows a very narrow-minded view on the world we all live in.

What we鈥檙e witnessing unfold in Ukraine is becoming one of the most fast-moving descents into a full-on war ever in modern history.
