Norm Klassen was the winner out of thousands of entries for the Shop Local contest put on by Lakes District ÑÇÖÞÌìÌÃ, which ran all through November. He received a prize of $500 in gift certificates that will likely go towards some Christmas shopping. Klassen said when he received the call that he was the winner it made his day. Public skating is now available at the Lakeside Multiplex on Fridays and Sundays and daytime skate is also available on first Tuesday of every month.
