亚洲天堂 Lake RCMP continue to keep the search for P.J. Sebastian as a high priority. Dec. 26, 2013 marked two years since Sebastian went missing after a last being seen near Southbank, south of 亚洲天堂 Lake.

Despite numerous witness statements and having followed up on more than 180 individual tasks related to the case, the case remains open. Last year, Sebastian鈥檚 cousin Kim Sebastian said that despite canvasing a large area extending as far east as Edmonton, no concrete leads were had.

Kim Sebastian had been involved in the search of P.J. right from the beginning. She organized and participated in the June, 2012 鈥榬elay for hope鈥, a 260 km journey from the Nee Tahi Buhn reserve on Southside to Hagwilget Village in Hazelton, where P.J. was living and believed to be returning to when he disappeared.

Leads in the investigation were slim from the beginning. Shortly after P.J. disappeared, Kim spoke to Southside ferry crossing staff who were working on the evening P.J. was last seen, and they reported not having seen P.J. arrive for a ferry crossing.

She said that P.J. was normally conscientious to inform friends and family of his whereabouts by cell phone call or text message.

At the time of P.J.鈥檚 disappearance, local RCMP conducted extensive ground, marine and aerial searches without any success.

P.J. is a First Nations man, 30 years old now, who was last seen wearing a camouflage toque, black hoodie, black vest, grey shirt and dark track pants. At the time of his disappearance, he was medium build, about 5鈥11鈥 and 170 pounds.

With little more to go on than where P.J. was last seen and where he was likely going, 亚洲天堂 Lake RCMP continue to ask anyone with information related to the disappearance to contact them directly at 250-692-7171, or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
