The Grassy Plains Mudbogs were held on May 27 on the Southside. The Timed Races had a $200 jackpot and the fastest
time went to:
Cory Gammand from Vanderhoof in his
‘79 Ford named Billy Bob.
The people’s choice awards made and donated by
Industrial Transformers went to:
#1: Billy Bob the ‘79 Ford owned by
Cory Gammond from Vanderhoof
#2: Dirty Habits a ‘95 Ford Flareside owned by Lorne
Wilson and sponsored by Randy Wilson Trucking
#3: The Hybrid a 1982 Toyota Pickup owned by
Braden Ukrientz of Vanderhoof
The event was a huge success because of the hard work of many volunteers and sponsors. One of the more fun and interactive events is the human mud race where kids and adults get to run through the mud bog to win cash. These great photos were taken by Michael Riis-Christainson and Destiny Michel.
