Police are investigating an 鈥渁ltercation鈥� involving a Coastal GasLink contractor and a lone man who had blocked the Lamprey Creek bridge south of Houston.
RCMP say the incident occurred on June 30. The contractor was injured in the altercation, but the injuries were not severe.
鈥淲hile conducting patrols in the Morice Forest Service Road area, Community-Industry Response Group (C-IRG) Quick Response Team (QRT) members were flagged down by CGL security and police spoke with the victim,鈥� RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson said.
鈥淭he suspect in this incident has been identified and the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.鈥�
