With strobing lights and thundering music, the 亚洲天堂 Lake Body Count roller derby team came out onto the track at the Tom Forsyth Arena on Saturday June 7 to play their first ever bout versus the Kitimat Coastal Crushers. For the last two years, this group of women have been learning and training to play a sport they had known nothing about. It was a hard-fought battle, hits were made and bodies fell to the floor, but after the dust settled the 亚洲天堂 Lake Body Count came out on top with a score of 135-115.
