Lake Babine Nation elementary students enjoyed a virtual-reality game day at the Margaret Patrick Memorial Centre in Woyenne on May 22, 2025. Prior to the day, a committee of students learned to build high-end gaming computers, with two being built. The committee then made these computers available to a larger group for learning and play during game day. The Nation's education department is considering including VR in their curriculum to enhance the learning experience and motivate students.
