It's Election Day in the Skeena-Bukley Valley riding. 

The election was called on March 23 amid a trade war with the United States.

A new federal government is expected to be named Monday night, as Canada鈥檚 2025 snap election gets underway. The main parties vying for the 343 seats in the House of Commons are Mark Carney鈥檚 Liberals, Pierre Poilievre鈥檚 Conservatives, Jagmeet Singh鈥檚 New Democrats, Elizabeth May and Jonathan Pedneault鈥檚 Greens, Yves-Fran莽ois Blanchet鈥檚 Bloc Quebecois and Maxime Bernier鈥檚 People鈥檚 Party of Canada.

Polls are open in British Columbia from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. PST

Where you can vote: To find out your local poll location, visit the Elections Canada  and type in your street address. Alternatively, Canadians can look at their voter registration card. Voters can only visit their specified polling location.
