B.C. is rolling out a new-look website for drivers to check road conditions that includes new interactive maps.
DriveBC's full revamp and new mapping system aim to provide a more intuitive and easy-to-use system for both desktop and mobile devices.
It also integrates provincial and regional travel advisories to give clearer updates based on local weather conditions and emergencies.
Information about features such as border crossings, chain-up areas, and ferries will be embedded into the site, and it will include a more comprehensive route-planning feature that allows users to save specific trips and receive customized notifications.
The new site can be reached . The old will still be accessible for a few months.
