Northern Health held an event on June 27 in 亚洲天堂 Lake to celebrate the official completion of the Lakes District Hospital and Health Centre.
Although the hospital has been opened since February 2015, the parking lot and landscaping were not completed at the time. Northern Health says the purpose of the celebration was to thank staff, physicians and members of the public for their patience throughout the construction of the hospital.
The event included a drumming performance by local First Nations, barbecue and a tour of the hospital facilities.
