The first excavator on site at the new Lakes District Hospital and Health Centre is operated by a local contractor.

Tyson Radley of Radley Contracting Inc. based in 亚洲天堂 Lake, B.C. began work on site on Monday, June 17, 2013. It is expected the project will create 200 direct construction jobs.
