Friends Zachary Bueckert (L) and Damon Brown (R) are getting their heads shaved to support Travis Mihalyi at Mulvaney鈥檚 Pub in 亚洲天堂 Lake.
The two friends made a bet that the first person to get a haircut again has to pay the other $300. The fundraiser/silent auction for Mihalyi raised over $15,000 on Feb. 12, 2015, and the pub was packed with community members supporting the cause.
Mihalyi was diagnosed with cancer in October 2014 and the community has come together since then to help him pay for the expensive treatment. You can still support Mihalyi by making a donation in his name at the Lakes District branch of the Bulkley Valley Credit Union.
