The ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Community Forest (BLCF) donated $3300 to the movin’ on up program, an after school program for children from five to 12 years old in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake.
The money helped with the installation of a perimeter fence around the Muriel Mould Neighbourhood Learning Centre, where the program takes place.
Tamara Janzen (L), who runs the movin’ on up program, said the fence will help make children safer. Janzen is seen here with Crystal Fisher, BLCF director; Frank Varga, general manager of BLCF; and children of the movin’ on up program.
