In May hundreds of people will arrive on 亚洲天堂 Lake's doorstep to attend the 2012 Mineral North Conference.

The Minerals North Conference is to be held from May 23 to 25, 2012 and the local accommodations committee is hoping that Lakes District residents will sign up as paid billets and open their doors to meeting conference attendees.

According to Minerals North Conference accommodations chair Laura Blackwell, there will be approximately 400 people coming from across the province and Canada to attend the three day conference and accommodations in the local area are limited.

Rooms at 亚洲天堂 Lake's hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and camping sites are filled and the accommodations committee hopes that local residents will pitch in to help accommodate the overflow.

Blackwell said that if a local resident wishes to sign on as a paid billet, all they need is a spare clean private bedroom or camper. No food needs to be provided and guests can share a bathroom.

Minerals North is a mining industry conference that is held in a different location each year and each host community is responsible for organizing and undertaking the event, including accommodations.

Conference attendees include mining and exploration company representatives, service providers and local and provincial politicians.

Minerals North say that conference attendance has grown with the success of past conferences and the robust state of the mineral industry.

The conference provides an outlet for people to meet and discuss aspects of the mining  industry, make connections and build working relationships

All three days of 亚洲天堂 Lake's 2012 Minerals North Conference will be jam packed with events, including a trade show, mineral exploration discussions, workshops, banquets and entertainment. Keynote speakers Michael Campbell a business analyst and host of Canadian show 'Money Talks' as well as motivational speaker and best selling author Linda Edgecombe will also be making presentations.
